Anyone over the age of 13 can set up a campaign.
Do I have to play games during my stream?
Of course not! You’re welcome to stream whatever content you choose, from playing video games to singing to yoga to woodworking, and everything in between! Whatever you do, choose something that you’d be comfortable streaming in front of any audience.
How do I collect donations during my charity stream?
Tiltify is our donation platform of choice for charity streams. Tiltify is easy to use, offers all the tools you need to integrate with your stream, and sends the donations directly to us—so you don’t have to!
How do I stream?
There are several live streaming services to choose from, such as Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. (Click the links to view the starter guide for each platform.)
What can I stream?
JDRF is a family-friendly organization, and we encourage you to use discretion in deciding what to stream. That said, you know your community and their tastes best, so we trust you to stream whatever you think will have the greatest impact during your charity stream. Keep in mind that we reserve the right not to promote non-family-friendly material on JDRF channels.
What can I do during my stream?
We encourage you to be creative and have fun! Offering engaging incentives, fun prizes, and other creative goodies to your community is a great way to get them engaged, as long as you abide by the Terms of Service of the various platforms.
How can people donate?
Supporters can donate directly through your Tiltify campaign page, which will be visible as soon as you publish it. We currently accept donations by credit card and PayPal.
What should I tell a donor who has trouble with a donation?
Occasionally a donation might not go through, or someone accidentally transposes a digit and donates more than they meant to. You can contact Tiltify at to get this fixed. If you need more assistance, email us and we’ll try to help.
Where do the funds go?
All donations, less processing fees, go directly to JDRF International.
Are donations to JDRF International tax-deductible?
Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A receipt will be given for each donation, including the information needed for your taxes, via an email from Tiltify. Please consult your tax advisor with any questions.
