Okay, so it’s a bit late in January to say “Happy New Year,” but that’s not going to stop us. JDRF Game2Give has a ton of NEW stuff happening and we want you in on it!
New on Roblox: Charity Walk Simulator
JDRF One World is our virtual world on Roblox—a free, family-friendly experience where people of all ages can compete in minigames, go on quests, and learn about type 1 diabetes (T1D). Now JDRF One World includes Charity Walk Simulator, a brand new tycoon sim game that puts you in charge of your very own JDRF One Walk.
Show your support for JDRF and your dedication to fighting T1D as a JDRF One Walk participant and manager. Each step you take earns Blue Hearts that you can use to jazz up your charity walk with fun booths like an art gallery, a DJ stand, and even a JDRF Game2Give tent!
You can also trade hearts for power-ups, avatar upgrades, and other fun in-game loot. Players with the most steps will be immortalized on the leaderboards, with in-game statues reserved for the three most dedicated walkers.

On January 26, community member Tooafeesh and his son, Tiny Toona, will check out Charity Walk Simulator live on stream! Tune in to the JDRF Twitch channel at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.

New Ambassadors Wanted: Applications Open for Ready Type 1
Ready Type 1 Ambassadors are a wonderful group of people who go above and beyond to spread awareness and support JDRF Game2Give’s mission. We couldn’t do what we do without them!
To kick off 2024, we want to bring a few new Ambassadors into the fold. We’re looking for people who will commit to joining at least one fundraising event per year, will join in community activities on our Twitch channel, are active in our Discord community, and are passionate about furthering JDRF’s mission to improve the lives of people with T1D. Streamer Spotlight: Nukkuler
Nukkuler (Nukes for short) is a Ready Type 1 Ambassador and a full-time content creator on Twitch whose streams specialize in retro gaming, speedrunning, and challenge runs. She’s also our newest JDRF Game2Give team member, joining as a contractor to help with recruiting streamers, organizing fundraising events, and streaming on the JDRF Twitch channel.
Nukes was diagnosed with T1D at eight years old. “I remember being terrified and confused as a kid as I was rushed to the hospital with my diagnosis,” she says of the experience. “Everything was moving so quickly, but JDRF was there and helped make lil Nukkuler less scared with her new friend: Rufus. I’ll never forget how much JDRF impacted the transition to life with T1D.”
She’s repaid the favor (and then some) by raising over $30K for JDRF since joining our community in 2020. Now she gets to make an even bigger impact! Please join us in welcoming Nukes to her new role.
